Little Heather lives with her mean old Uncles in the hills of Eastern Kentucky, but she dreams of going places and seeing things. Then one day Heather's dreams come true when she digs up a very special potato! A magic potato. Heather befriends the potato, naming it Spud-nik. But her mean old Uncles have other plans for Heather's tater! They want to fry it up and eat it! Little Heather wishes upon a falling star that she could just fly away with her new friend. Her prayers are answered when a traveling Theatrical troup of tater bugs show up to take her and her magic spud on an adventure across the world!!! Eventually Heather ends up in Paris where the locals throw a big party with "French Fries" and everybody gets down with their bad selves!!! (BASED ON A TRUE STORY.)
