"It's been 20 years...since that night. You know the one I'm talking about. The rubber suit. The clown. Prince music playing in the background. Man, was that a crazy night!"
-Bruce Payne
On June 23, 1989 Tim Burton's original Batman film opened worldwide and changed the way comic books would be interpreted on the big screen for decades to come.
In 1992, Lowlight Productions filmed a parody entitled Batguy. The production was written by L. Henry Dowell and directed by Clark Bradshaw.
Now, it's 20 years later. Do you know where your Batguy is? I'll tell you. He's home, counting his money!!!
The Gusto Theatre Company is proud to present this stage version of Batguy, a great send up of the Caped Crime Buster himself!
"You ever mambo with Robert DiNiro in a pale blue nightgown?"
